We are your Union, we are only as good and effecient at the members want it to be. Don't grumble and complain, if members don't come to the general membership meetings, then how can anything be accomplished.
The union is not a babysitter or big brother of the membership. The union is to make sure the contract is followed, that all members get thier due process. The union is not there to tell the members how to do their job, have pride in their work, or like thier co-workers.
The union DOES want everyone to work safely, and to be an active participant in the business side of the union.
